We
identified specific needs for improved patient tracking and follow-up
communication in nine departments. Partnering with KGB
Graphics, we created a dynamic
INTRAnet website site and the CareTrack applications which track patient
visits requiring rechecks. The web application communicates with
their existing practice management system, provides notification of
pending rechecks and even creates the recall letters.
The pilot project is nearing completion and will be
rolled out to additional departments. Future plans for the INTRAnet site include a
News section to improve communications within the Owatonna Clinic - Mayo
Health Systems. |
